Wet Insect Collection Cups are solid. Wet cup trapping is used as a low cost method when identification of trapped insects is not important. Non-toxic RV anti-freeze is often used as the killing solution for wet trapping.

Dry Insect Collection Cups come with drain-screens. Dry cup trapping is often used in combination with Vapor tape as the killing method when identification of trapped insects is key.
